Production-style network infrastructure on Proxmox VE

  • Designed a segmented network with 4 VLANs, each with dedicated subnets, DHCP, and per-VLAN firewall policies on OPNsense
  • Deployed a full monitoring stack with Prometheus, Grafana, SNMP Exporter, and Uptime Kuma for real-time network visibility
  • Built centralized log aggregation with Loki and Grafana Alloy, collecting Docker logs and OPNsense firewall syslog
  • Diagnosed and resolved VLAN trunk misconfigurations, subnet routing conflicts, SNMP OID mapping failures, and syslog format mismatches
  • Self-hosted services including Pi-hole DNS ad blocking, Homepage dashboard, and Nginx Proxy Manager
